Testimonials

I feel so blessed and grateful to have completed the 500 Hour Teacher Training with YTTI on so many levels. The program offers in depth asana and adjustment training. The combined knowledge and wisdom of highly experienced and seasoned teachers is priceless. Hatha poses were broken down step by step to encourage proper alignment and prevent injuries. I now have a broader view and deeper understanding on the different methods of getting students safely into the same poses.

Janine is an operating room nurse with years of experience. Her lectures combined with diagrams and visuals give the teacher complete understanding how the human body works in relation to a yoga practice. Many yoga students have various injuries and limits. Janine demonstrated different alternatives, which are safe and effective. As yoga teachers we have a big responsibility to keep our students from injury. Janine has given us the tools to keep our students steady and happy in poses.

Dr. Mokshapriya Shatki philosophy lectures and pranayama teachings complete the yoga teacher training. Without pranayama and philosophy the full yoga journey will not take place. The two most profound quotes by Mokshapriya that I will never forget is energy follows intention and if you are sincere the universe will help you. These quotes will stay with me forever and I know them to be true in my own life. It took me a long time to be comfortable with pranayama. With love, devotion and practice I am now able to sit comfortably without fidgeting. I am grateful for Mokshapriya staying on top of me. Finally, Mokshapriya's interpretations of the Raja Yoga Sutra's of Patanjali are brilliant. Philosophy can be intimidating and complex. Mokshapriya offers in depth explanations of the Sutra's and is always open to questions and answers. No student is ever left behind! Angela 2011

Since my graduation from the 200 hours teacher training, I find myself continuing to learn, with deeper understanding, and the more I learn, the more I feel I need to. The knowledge of yoga is vast, it is like the Buddhist sutra said "...there is no beginning, there is no ending...". I enjoy keeping this momentum of learning going. I like this wonderful feeling of learning more each time I go to the workshops and classes. I am very happy and I am encourage with my improvement, and want to continue to improve, both physically, emotionally and spiritually.
