What Students have to Say

It is difficult for me to put into words how grateful I am to each of you. When I signed up for the training I knew I would learn about yoga, what I did not realize is how much I would learn about life and myself. I have experienced a tremendous about of personal growth. I have developed a greater understanding of people and why they enter our lives. I feel better equipped to deal with the obstacles that we must face throughout life. I have also developed a greater understanding of the difficulties that have already had to deal with.
The asana training was phenomenal and I feel blessed to have had the opportunity to study with Maryanne before her retirement. Her experience and knowledge is unmatched. The Asana manual is concise, direct and easy to follow. I do believe you can teach those poses you can teach any pose. My practice is better than it has ever been. I have gained so much strength both physically and emotionally. I know that her attention to detail will make me a better teacher. I also enjoyed hearing stories from her life and how she incorporates yoga into everyday western life. She is also very perceptive about people and how to handle difficult situations.
I enjoyed the thought provoking philosophy sessions. Mokshapriya is filled with such love and wisdom. “Our Mind” is a wonderful translation of the sutras; I know I will be reading them over and over. I have only just begun by journey of self discovery. What I have learned from Mokashapriya has helped me professionally as a counselor, a yoga teacher and personally.
Thank you both for the gifts that you have given us. I am sure as time goes by I will realize even more how this training affected me
Love Always, Danielle
